Stampin’ and Scrappin’ Time Classes

Make 3 acetate tags with rosettes using some of the Fancy Pants "Winterland" papers. We will be using a rosette die cut and embossing folders in class, however, you will be instructed on how to make a rosette without a die cut also. Bring scotch tape, score tape 1/2" and 1/16," basic kit.

Time for another mini book project and I just can’t decide what paper line to use! It will either be October Afternoon Farmhouse, Echo Park Yours Truly, Basic Grey Picadilly or Bo Bunny Gabriella!

Stencil Time with Crafter’s Workshop: For the next 3 months explore the basics of stenciling using different mediums. Create 3 amazing cards with stenciled backgrounds and artistic accents. The Crafter's Workshop stencil products are a family-owned, independent manufacturer & distributor of some very cool templates and stencils. They started as a small paper arts shop in 1997, selling lovely papers, fine art supplies and all sorts of delicious things. One day in 1998, they realized that the only thing missing was a great assortment of unique templates. And Voila! The Crafter's Workshop templates & stencils were born! Everything they make and package right here in the USA! It's a big job keeping Scrapbookers, Stampers, Card makers, Quilters, Fiber Artists, Decorative Artists and everyone-in-between-Artists happy.

Birthday Cards: In this class we will create 5 birthday cards that you can keep in your stash or use as jumping off points to create more cards with a similar sketch. Hero Arts, Memory Box and other companies will be used in this class. Clean and Simple and Other Techniques will be used as well.

Gypsy Basics:
Come and learn how to use your Gypsy! You'll learn the basic features of this wonderful accessory for your Cricut. The Gypsy is a powerful design tool that will help you make the most of all your cartridges. Bring to Class: Your basic kit and your Gypsy, power cord, cartridge link cable, link cable to Cricut, your Cricut machine, its power cord, mat and paper (any will do). Also, if you have never linked a cartridge to your Gypsy, bring one or two cartridges to link.

Gypsy Advanced: ($5.00 discount if you register for the Basics course at the same time!)

Come and learn how to use the advanced features of your Gypsy! Learn how to kern, weld, create templates, merge images, shadow and more. Students of this class must already know the basics of the Gypsy and are comfortable using it, or have taked the Gypsy Basics session.

What to Bring to Class: Basic Kit plus your Gypsy and its power cord, link cable to Cricut, your Cricut machine, its power cord, mat and paper (any will do). Also, if you have never linked a cartridge to your Gypsy, bring one or two cartridges to link.

Cricut Basics
Do you own any of the Cricut machines and not sure what to do with it, or you've tried to use it and are having problems. Come learn the basics of your machine and how to get the most of it. We'll go over the functions and features of the machine, how to size and layer, and how to read the cartridge booklets. Bring your basic kit, Cricut machine, power cords, mats, paper and a cartridge. We'll cut images and layered images so you'll get some basic practice in too.

Mixed Media Mini book- One Little Word
It's after the holidays and time for a mini album all about your word for 2012. If you've heard of One Little Word with Ali Edwards, then bring your word to create an album that you can add photos and journaling to all
year. Having a focus word allows you to really look for those moments throughout the year and document them. You will create a mini using fabric, cardboard, papers and handmade embellishments. We will use Faber-Castell Gelatos, Aquarelle pencils, and lots of art mediums to create this artsy and unique book. Bring a basic kit and foam brush to class.

Home Decor Art Canvas

Need to break out of the winter blahs? Join me for a fun class that will give you lots of techniques to push you through the winter. We will create a beautiful home decor art canvas that will feature many art techniques all in one! Bring a basic kit and foam brush to class. I will supply the Faber-Castell products and canvas. This bright and cheerful canvas will certainly bring you through the dark, grey days of winter!

Spring Fling – March 31st!

Spring Fling 2012 is just a few month away! Join us for a lively day of making 16 CAS cards covering occasions from thank you, thinking of you, wedding, anniversary, sympathy, masculine, birthday, and funny, along with our popular project segments. Lunch provided. Shopping opportunities will be available throughout the day. Register by calling the Shoppe. Event fee $65. Classes start promptly at 8:30 a.m.! More announcements TBA!

Clubs, Classes and Crops

Class Registration Policy:

All classes require pre-payment with credit card or personal check. The payment cannot be transferred to another class if cannot attend. Pre-payment helps our instructors to prepare kits and materials needed to conduct the class. You are also required to bring your own basic kit which consists of: scissors, adhesives, glue, ruler, pencil, trimmer.

Table Time

If you and your friends are interested in cropping for an afternoon or would love to get together to create cards, call the store to reserve our tables for an afternoon!! The cost is $5.00 per person. Reservations are a must and it is on a first come first serve basis. Table time is offered during store hours only and if there are no classes being held that day. You may also bring in your own food and beverages-which you are responsible for organizing.

Kathy & Friends Crop Friday Morning: 9:30-11am, $10

A great time to learn, share and have fun. Open to all levels! All materials supplied to create a layout featured for that day! Look for special guest crop instructors-announced in the weekly newsletter! Please bring your photos and a basic kit!

Cricut Club $10

Cricut Club is a place to learn all the cool projects you can create using your Cricut machine. All skill levels are welcome. Bring the following items/supplies to the meeting: Your Cricut machine, mat, one cartridge to work with (any one is fine), 6 sheets of cardstock (any color), Cricut tools (whatever you have) and a notebook for notes.

Copic Class
The copic club is no longer available through the store, but we can special order any markers you would like to purchase. Copic coloring classes are designed to get you familiar with how Copics work and all the techniques available to achieve great coloring techniques using Copic markers.

Our first coloring class will focus on how to select colors that match and how to get a result you will be satisfied with. We will color images that have been pre-stamped. If you have a selection of markers from our past club, feel free to bring them to class, or if you have purchased them elsewhere, feel free to bring them as well. I will also be demonstrating how to ex-change tips and refill your markers.
